The challenge
Selling an app that does not exist yet is a different problem from selling one that does. There is no product to demo, no reviews to cite and no free tier to fall back on. The only currency is a believable promise.
Wellness makes it harder still, because the audience has been promised transformation many times before and has usually failed at it. Scepticism is the default posture.
What I built
The funnel leads with a concrete, time-bound hook — the Local Fit Wellness Challenge, framed as your healthiest year yet — rather than an abstract claim about wellbeing. A challenge with a defined shape is something a person can picture themselves starting, which an app download is not.
The supporting promise is deliberately modest and specific: a simple, guided program to build healthier habits, improve fitness and finally stay consistent. That last word does the real work, naming the failure the audience has already experienced instead of ignoring it.
Device mockups show the actual product surface — the daily planner, check-ins, the day’s lesson, meal and workout — so the promise is backed by something visible. The page then answers the objections that follow in order: how it works, what is in the app, pricing and FAQs, with waitlist and join actions repeated at each stage so a visitor convinced early never has to scroll back.
Outcome
The funnel converts pre-launch interest into a waitlist by pairing a specific, dated challenge with visible product proof, giving the app an audience before release.
